The property has to fit the plan
Start with what you want to do.
Intended use shapes almost every question that follows. Before getting attached to a property, decide what you need the land to support now and later.
Think about the practical plan:
- Living in the existing home or building
- Adding a shop or another structure
- Keeping animals or using the land recreationally
- Maintenance, privacy, and usable space
- Utilities or services your plans depend on
- Future improvements that matter to you
A plan is a starting point, not proof that a use is allowed. Property-specific rules and approvals still need verification.
